Hello All! First off, I'd just like to say how thrilled I am to be teaching you. We're going to have an exciting year filled with knowledge and fun! I can't wait to get to know each of you personally and am looking forward to meeting you!

This website is just a way for you, the students and parents, to get an inside look on what's going to be happening throughout the year. I'll be updating it daily with the class assignments, calendar, helpful websites, and much more!

As the holidays are quickly approaching, our students will begin to discover the many different ways in which countries celebrate Christmas. This unit will take them on an incredible journey around the world. I encourage you as parents to test their newly learned knowledge by asking questions about the cultures they've learned. This is my first time planning this unit, but I feel it will be very successful and helpful in each of the students knowledge of diverse cultures. See "Our Upcoming Unit" page for further details.

Attention Parents

On December 16 at 1:00 our class will be holding a multicultural Christmas celebration in honor of the diverse regions we've learned over the past few weeks. There will be group presentations put on by the students, as well as food, music and dancing! If you'd like to help out by cooking, decorating, or any other way please feel free to let me know. Thanks so much and hope to see you there!
